My cute hubby! I must say he cleans up pretty good. We had such a wonderful time at the Lambda Chi Alpha White Rose. This year it was held at the MD Science Center. It was amazing.

Today was so beautiful we decided to walk up and meet Sarah and Jim at the school. It was a wonderful walk. Just for a few moments life was perfect, life was whole, complete. It was a wonderful feeling.

A moment captured. A little girl ordering and paying for her own meal- for the first time (under the careful eye of her Brownie leader). As part of the hospitality badge the girls took a trip to McDonald's to learn about ordering and giving correct money and receiving change. Sarah felt like such a big girl. Now she can't wait to order her meal again.

My entertainment. My lifeline. My phone. Yes people-My husband pulled me to the techie dark side. I can't live with out my iPhone. It has caught a precious moment or two when my camera is not ready.It has quieted a hyper kid and has kept me in touch with reality. It's my superman. Technology is good.

Simple Pleasures

Today I am grateful for...canned tomatoes. Homemade canned tomatoes to be exact. There's something about cooking with foods that you know exactly where they were grown and how they were grown. To me these tomatoes taste so much better then any store bought ones. Today a can found its way into my Spanish rice and of course it was delicious. It turned my rainy day into not such a bad day. I am so blessed to have a MomMom who takes her time to can for me and a Pop who loves to grow these delicious beauties (and during low season picks out the best from the local market). Mmmm, life is good.

Happy Birthday To Me

On April 19 I turned 28. A pretty uneventful day I must say, but not to bad. To honor my 28th year I have decided to jump on board with the Project 365. Basically it's 365 days of photos. So here we go...
DAY 1- April 19,2009

Beautiful Weather! I couldn't ask for a more beautiful day. The kids played outside all day. It made for a very relaxing day. I even broke out the new flip flops my mom bought me.
